Overview
Lisa Crowley's solo show is a multichannel video installation and a collaborative publication project seeking an alternative to how capitalism ascribes different value to people, objects and work and exploring the interconnected nature of subjective and objective thinking.
Crowley was inspired by Virginia Woolf's concept of the incandescent mind.
The publication is a collection of new work by five intergenerational female writers: Jan Bryant, E.R. Graham, Ngahuia Harrison, Gwyneth Porter and George Watson, that explores ideas of power and precarity, cultural loss, recuperation, and world-making.
Don't miss the publication launch and opening of the show, it's an opportunity to be surrounded by some amazing thinkers and artists.
