The La Zeppa Summer Carnival

Overview

Summer is on the horizon, which can only mean one thing — outdoor carousing. Boasting one of the finest rooftop bars in Auckland, La Zeppa should be the destination of choice to soak up the rays. This year, fizzing to get the sunny season started by celebrating it an entire month early, the inner-city restaurant and bar will hold a Summer Carnival.

There's a whole heap planned; start your day with candy floss on a stick, fresh frosé, popcorn by the box and a $1 Mediterranean tapas bar featuring all the La Zeppa favourites: salted caramel walnuts, pork croquettes and chorizo on the grill. There will of course be a new summer cocktail list to tick off and beats flowing courtesy of local DJs, bands and solo artists.

Taking the stage throughout the day will be: Sydney-based music producer and DJ Mia Paris, Afro hip hop artist and producer Unchained XL, George FM's DJ Aroha and party DJ duo Jetski Safari.

The carnival theme will come full circle with a range of extra large games, including Giant Jenga, Supersize Pick-Up-Sticks and Twister.
