Overview

Trekking across Middle-Earth is a big job. Trying to keep a precious ring safe from an evil lord is, too. There's much that's massive about The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Peter Jackson's first movie adaptation of JRR Tolkien's beloved novels, so you'll want to revisit it on a sizeable screen — and at a huge party celebrating two decades since the flick first released, too.

That's what's on offer at the Hobbiton Movie Set on Friday, December 10 and again on Friday, January 14, all as part of its 20-year anniversary celebration for The Fellowship of the Ring. And yes, there's nothing quite like marking the occasion exactly where the movie came to life, complete with an openair screening of the movie's 4K theatrical cut on The Party Field, where Bilbo celebrated his eleventyfirst birthday.

As well as spending more time peering at hobbits, elves, wizards and more, your $240 ticket also includes a visit to Bag End, home of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins; a wander around the Shire; and a trip to The Green Dragon Marketplace. Yes, this is a treat yo'self kind of LOTR celebration — or the movie-and-tour version of having a second breakfast.
