Overview

With Aotearoa currently under lockdown restrictions, The New Zealand Dance Company wanted to provide an opportunity to keep the community moving. If you've always wanted to move and flow like a professional dancer, now is your chance as the organisation dishes up online classes at no charge.

Every week until mid-May, NZDC ballet teacher Nicci Mcewan will virtually guide you through the building blocks of technical concert dance; Wednesdays will focus on strength and conditioning and the art of feisty feet; the NZDC dancers will offer lessons in contemporary movement every Thursday; while Fridays are reserved for yoga for dancers with Caroline Bindon.

See the NZDC website for the full schedule. While participation is free, donations are welcome to support the company.
