Overview

Autonomous creativity greatly exceeds the traditional pen to paper mentality, and with the introduction of new technology each year, new forms of creativity and art are moulding and shaping traditional creative mediums as we know them today.

To follow the technological changes, companies like Wacom equip tech-creatives with the tools to express themselves through new art forms.

The Japanese tablet specialist provides users with interactive pens, pen tablets, and styluses to digitally convert hand-drawn art into a vector image. It's basically a magic pen that allows you to perfect your illustrations by digitally manipulating your sketches on a computer or tablet. How handy would that have been in Year 11 art?

Just Another Agency and Wacom are combine to tour a unique event to launch Wacom's annual artist publication and feature a range of digital artists' work from around the world.

Both the publication and the exhibition feature the work of The Next Level competition winners, including: Lauren Carney, Gemma Correll, Merda, David Milan, Rik Oostenbroek and Furry Little Peach.

Head along to the exhibition at Silo Park, and who knows, maybe you'll be so inspired that you come home with a tablet, quit your job and become a digital artist too.
