Prepare your record-flicking fingers for Saturday, 11 May, because the Allpress Studio's The Other Crate Fair is back for another year.

It's been a while since we've seen these guys in action, but due to public demand they've brought back The Other Crate Fair for all the Auckland music lovers in 2019.

A more upmarket record fair, you won't be flicking through the same old vinyl here that you're used to. Curated by DJs, selectors and curators, only the best music manages to find its way into the studio — meaning the hours are short, and everyone wants everything.

Like moths to a light, Allpress Studio will see record collectors descend from all across the city, all across Auckland, all across the country even — just to take home a piece of that perfectly curated selection. Musos can expect to find treasure in all genres, whether they're jazz and blues fans, or into house and still waiting for that drop.

For four hours you can flick, peruse, snatch and maybe even grab a bargain or two — all while hyped up on the best coffee in town. That's right folks, the good guys from Allpress Coffee wouldn't leave our music-loving Aucklanders caffeine-starved for four hours, so they're turning the coffee machine up and the steamer on full-blast.

If you consider yourself a bit of a record-collecting fiend, head along to Freemans Bay on 11 May — you never know, you might find your next all-time fave in the bargain bin.
