The Other Crate Record Fair

Overview

Ask any lover of vinyl why they would choose analogue over digital and chances are they'll tell you it 'Just. Sounds. Better'. There is however, likely to be another reason; purchasing vinyl is an experience. Do not fret, that is not said with the tone of musical elitism. It simply comes down to the fact that buying records tends to involve contact with another human. One with whom you can usually have a conversation based around musical opinions with — rather than simply clicking 'buy' on iTunes.

Luckily for vinyl fans, The Other Crate Record Fair is here to facilitate such experiences. Setting up shop in the airy Allpress Gallery in Freemans Bay, the Fair is taking the effort out of hunting down some true gems. Dusty Crates will have a load of new vinyl for your perusal, which will be accompanied by a quality selection of secondhand offerings from other sellers. From 9am until 1pm, guest DJs will keep your ears happy, while the Allpress team will keep your caffeine and hunger cravings at bay. So all you have to do, is focus on the music.
