Overview

Artweek Auckland is bringing its patrons a truly unique sensory experience this year with the event The Secret Lives of Colour and Scent.

The show is inspired by the phenomenon of synesthesia, which is a condition where one sense involuntarily triggers the experience of another sense. This exhibition plays on the relationship between colour and scent, but also explores space, form, shape, line, texture, perspective and design, leading you through different moments and moods.

The interactive experience, brought to you by scent experts Perfume Playground, guides you through different art displays that play on the senses. In addition, you have the opportunity to learn about the latest cannabis science — including the 100 percent natural terpenes used, and the unknown history and stories behind them.

Terpenes, arguably the purest form of smell you can find, are organic compounds produced by plants and some insects that produce a strong and diverse array of smells.

A ticket to the event includes an interactive art exhibition including fashion and music, a natural fragrance experience and a personalised Eau de Parfum Natural Perfume created utilising science to improve mood and motivation.

Limited places are available.
