Overview

“Mr Twit was a twit. He was born a twit. And now at the age of sixty, he is a bigger twit than ever.”

Relive your childhood disgust and indulge in The Twits, a theatre adaptation of Roald Dahl's classic children's novel.

Bro'Town star Dave Fane and Kiwi comedy legend Te Radar: two men beautifully cast as the repulsive heterosexual couple, Mr and Mrs Twit. The pair are frightfully mean, deliciously revolting, and both delight in playing nasty tricks on one another. The ugly, smelly and shocking couple revel in their own malicious mischief and stupefying stupidity.

Not satisfied with terrifying each other, the repellent duo force pet monkeys to perform tricks for their entertainment and tempt wild birds onto glue-covered trees so the couple can bake them in a pie. But suddenly the animals seek revenge.

For the young and young at heart, prepare to be repulsed, and delighted.
