Overview

Bay of Plenty boy Luke Thomposon has been crooning since the spritely age of seven years old when he spent sunny afternoons strumming and singing at his Mount Maunganui home. And if it's at all possible, his music still carries the sound of this idyllic childhood. His debut single 'Morning Light' was released in 2005, and spent an impressive eleven weeks amidst the NZ Radio Top 40. Since his initial success, Thompson has stayed true to his sound, and continues to release his whimsical tunes that embody the serenity of the New Zealand setting in which they were created.

As part of acoustic performance series, The Warehouse Sessions, Luke Thompson is playing alongside South Island songstress with a folk sound, Holly Arrowsmith, whose debut album The River hit shelves earlier this year. Performing in a warehouse in Newmarket, the two will start the show at 8pm. Head down any time after 7pm to get yourself a spot.
