Martin Crowe may have given up on his return to his cricket career at 49 years, but try telling 59 year old Tim Finn the same thing. On tour to celebrate the release of The View is Worth the Climb, Tim Finn has collaborated with some of New Zealand's leading instrumentalists (Mara TK, Tony Buchen, Zac Rae, Joey Waronker, Brett Adams) to produce a melodic pop album with clear influence from producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, of whom Tim Finn is a huge fan).

With his performance at Mercury Theatre, expect to hear songs from his new album right back to his early bangers from the Split Enz and Crowded House days. This should lay the platform for a delightful night out with friends, celebrating one of New Zealand's finest contemporary music creators.
