Upon the cusp of their third album, Tiny Ruins have announced a New Zealand winter tour starting on June 14.

Lead singer and songwriter, Hollie Fullbrook began the band as a solo artist in 2009 before being joined by bassist Cass Basil and drummer Alexander Freer. Contrary to numerous New Zealand bands, Tiny Ruin's method encompasses the feeling of an intimate, cold winter's evening, rather than summertime sounds. Similar to UK indie-folk band Daughter, Tiny Ruins are gregarious, innovative and compelling as they employ the use of evocative melodies that becomes addictive.

Having returned from touring with the likes of Fleet Foxes in the US, Europe and playing at iconic venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Tiny Ruins delivers lyrical warmth that will encourage you to embrace the beauty of winter.

Tiny Ruins are playing at three Auckland locations: The Vic in Devonport on June 29, Leigh Sawmill Café on July 2 and the Kings Arms Tavern on August 5.
