Overview
Like many of the exhibitions on this month, To All New Arrivals deals with themes of migration, voyage and arrival.
Early New Zealand art sits alongside more recent work and the conversation between the two is often apparent.
With the role that it plays in society, art is often a way to explore the world around us and make sense of big changes taking place. So, it will be interesting to see how these themes come through over time.
Curated by Ron Brownson, the exhibition is free entry so go as many times as you want — it won't break the bank. While you're there, check out what else is going on at the city's big brother gallery, there's always something new to see.
