Congratulations to Damien McDowell and Olivia Coote for winning a Double Pass each to this year's Tuborg Summer Sunday.

Sustainability is at the core of newly launched Tuborg Summer Sunday. The ethos behind the festival is to ensure there is a positive impact on the surrounding environment and community. Partnered with multi award-winning charity, Sustainable Coastlines & eco magazine, Element, the Festival features not only a stellar kiwi lineup, but a range of environmental initiatives. A bus service will be running from Auckland to the festival. During the bus trip to the event, a stop off along the Matakana coast will allow passengers to roll up their sleeves, pick up some trash & reduce their carbon footprint as part of a coastal cleanup.

Those driving to the festival are also urged to participate in the clean-up – and there is a good incentive too. For every sack of trash participants collect, they’ll receive tokens for free Tuborg. To fulfill our sustainable goals, a bustling eco village will be nestled amongst the bar area, offering festival punters valuable & practical environmental information. It will also feature innovative ways to approach recycling including an on-site glass-cutting machine, which will create re-usable drinking glasses out of beer bottles & glassblowers demonstrating their sustainable art form.
