Overview

Urbanaut Brewing Co is celebrating its second birthday this June. The Kingsland brewery is the brainchild of friends Thomas Rowe, Simon Watson and Bruce Turner — who left his job with London's Meantime Brewing Company to set up the outfit.

Urbanaut celebrates flavours from around the globe — beers under the label have celebrated everywhere from Brixton to Shimokita, Gastown and Williamsburg —  and they want to commemorate the special occasion with you the only way they know how. By throwing a radical party.

The team at Urbanaut has wrangled some of their favourite bands for the birthday bonanza. The lineup includes The Echo Ohs, Power Nap, Queen Neptune and Dad Jokes. As well as Auckland's best rookie DJs. Join the team at Whammy Bar on Friday, 7 June while also devouring tasty tunes, bountiful beers and grand giveaways.

Tickets are on sale for a whopping $9, so gather your best craft beer enthusiasts and get celebrating.
