Overview
This April Auckland will be graced with the presence of not-so emerging Chicago artist, Vic Mensa. Rising up from the ashes of group Kids These Days, Victor, who was not Down On His Luck, came into his own and in turn has produced some absolute bangers including 'U Mad' and 'No Chill'. You may just jump back in utter surprise when you grasp it’s Vic Mensa song. Well, at least I did.
From working with artist such as Chance the Rapper creating the SAVEMONEY collective (from what I understand is a new banking system), Danny Brown, to the one and only Mr Kanye West, Vic Mensa has engraved his name in the stone of hip hop for many years to come.
The hip hop artist will be hitting our sandy shores for the first time since Laneway 2015, for a one night only show at Auckland’s Studio on K Rd. Grab your ticket for the cheeky Wednesday night gig now through Ticketmaster.
