Overview

The Waiheke Island Arts Festival is just around the corner and it shows promise as a nice way to spend the long-weekend. Waiheke is known for it's vineyards and its artists, showing over time, a consistent standard of work. Whether it be outdoor work or original canvas creations, locals have always been quite creative.

The festival will featuring 34 Artists, Studios and groups participating and inviting the public into their creative caves for a rare glimpse at their new work and (almost more interestingly) how they work.

Tickets are only $15 and include a soiree and silent auction. The festival goes from the May 31 - June 2 and the silent auction takes place on Sunday June 1 at the gallery.
