Overview

Auckland's most idyllic island paradise will come alive on the first Saturday of April, as the country's best wineries and gourmet food vendors descend on Te Motu Winery for the Waiheke Wine and Food Festival. Food vendors involved include Te Motu, as well as first class local restaurants: Poderi Crisci, Casita Miro, Dragonfired Pizza, Urban Escargot, South American Oven and Shima Sushi. But most importantly the award-winning vineyards at the event will include Awaroa, Batch, Cable Bay, Goldie, Man O' War, Miro, Mudbrick, Obsidian, Passage Rock, Peacock Sky, Poderi Crisci, Stonyridge, Te Motu, Wild on Waiheke and Woodside Hill.

In addition to promising an unmatched culinary experience in beautiful surroundings, the sounds of the evening will be curated by none other than world famous jazz saxophonist Nathan Haines with his band and several other renowned musicians. Event tickets include all transport to and from the venue as well as a glass of wine on arrival, so all you have to worry about is eating, drinking and relaxing until the sunsets over the vineyards.
