Overview

The event that's been bringing music and culture to Auckland for 12 years is back for another show. Whammyfest is returning for its much-anticipated celebration of good company, drinks and seriously great local music.

Running across two evenings, this year's Whammyfest is going to be a weekend to remember. Expect to find three stages of 20+ bands and DJs ranging from punk rock, folk, rap, electronica and house. Whammyfest was created with the goal of celebrating and promoting the diverse range of artists still yet to be discovered in New Zealand — and this year is no exception. The 2019 lineup is one to get excited about, with artists including rising star Chaii, a solo set by Kane Strang, Hans Pucket, Holly Afoa, Unsanitary Napkin, Echo Ohs and Bozo.

This weekend of diverse music and Kiwi talent is a representation of what the team at Whammy are about. Tickets allow access to all shows across both days. Limited Friday/Saturday tickets will be available at the door.
