Dive into the rabbit hole and explore the gallery in a way you've never dreamt of. Celebrating the opening of Yayoi Kusama's The Obliteration Room, Wonderland is inspired by the artist who sees herself as a modern-day Alice in Wonderland.
The perfect event for a playful Saturday outing and one that also works well if you're doing your bit and looking after little ones for the weekend.
The Victorian picture gallery is being transformed into a Wonder Garden where you can see and make Pasifika inspired arts and crafts. Artworks are coming to life thanks to the Papakura Hawkins Theatre company and the gallery will be filled with sound and movement including a Pasifika drums performance.
It's the most festive art event this silly season.
