Overview

Straight from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Hayley Sproull (Miss Fletcher Sings the Blues, Tighty Whiteys, Outsiders’ Guide) brings her latest musical comedy You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman to the Basement Theatre. The show is a fast-paced journey of hilarity seeking to discover what what it means to be a woman (beyond, you know, having XX chromosomes), brought to audiences by a woman who said she’d never do a show about being a woman.

Sproull’s previous performances have been described as ‘side-splitting', ‘masterful' and ‘a little too quick', and her signature comedy songs and fast-paced sketches have been a hit with audiences across the country. According to reviews, her shows are faultless - every gesture, word and vocal trick timed to comic perfection.

Left in her capable, classically trained hands, You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman is sure to be a wee bit offensive, a bit deep and definitely one to scribble into the calendar.
