Overview

After suffering a heart attack during his show Zen Dog at the Basement in 2013, actor Mick Innes is back on stage bringing you Zen Dog: Satori.

Satori refers to the experience of 'sudden enlightenment', a fitting title for Mick after changing his way of thinking following suffering a major heart attack and two strokes.

Opening up about his past and featuring karmic tales of recovery, redemption and sudden enlightenment, this brand new show is a fundraising season for a documentary on Mick's life.

You may think Mick looks a bit familiar, during his 30 years spent living in across the ditch he picked up roles on both everyone's favourite Aussie dramas Home and Away and Water Rats. He's also the voice to the Hammer Hardware ads on TV, so even if you didn't realise it, Mick's been a part of your life for quite some time now — why don't you get to know him a little bit more.
