Black Pineapple Has Launched a Boozy Hot Cross Bun Cocktail Kit for Easter
All you have to do is shake, pour and garnish.
Founded by hospitality veteran Frankie Walker, Black Pineapple Co. offers customised beverage experiences, from themed bars to seasonal cocktails. During the nation's first COVID-19 lockdown, the brand hosted at-home tutorials and launched its own pre-batched cocktail subscription service.
In anticipation of chocolate season, Black Pineapple has added a new Easter-themed cocktail kit to its selection to ensure the fun is equally shared between kids and adults.
The 'Hot Cross Bunny' is a twist on a classic '20th Century' cocktail. Building on the base of gin, lemon and chocolate, Black Pineapple takes the festive theme one step further by adding hot cross bun flavours with spice and richness from PX sherry. It's all tied together with a dark chocolate bunny garnish from Devonport Chocolates.
The 'Hot Cross Bunny' cocktail kits are available in three variations, starting at $69 for four cocktails and how-to instructions. If you require the tools to pull it all together, there's the option of adding on a shaker and strainer for $109, or a full-blown professional setup including a seven-piece cocktail set for $159. The kits are available nationwide, with a shipping deadline of March 28.
Along with the 'Hot Cross Bunny' range, the Black Pineapple boxes include cocktail classics, Black Pineapple favourites and one entirely dedicated to the espresso martini.
The kits arrive with everything you need to create first-class cocktails, including a pre-batched base alongside syrups and sodas to mix, and garnishes to pull everything together. All of the hard work has been done by the Black Pineapple team in advance so all you have to do is shake, pour and garnish.
