If you didn't participate in what will become the known as the summer of queuing for security guard-protected chocolate milk (who are you?), then perhaps you'd like to give those hamstrings a little stretch and get ready for the new wave of queues for Lewis Road Creamery's latest flavoured editions: coffee and vanilla milk.

Made with Coffee Supreme and Heilala Vanilla respectively, the two new flavours carry the Lewis Road Creamery's ethos of using real ingredients to create some pretty wonderful results. (NB: We're yet to try these two beautiful, new creations, but gawdamn it's Lewis Road Creamery flavoured milk we're talking about here, of course it's going to be good; and yes we're gushing; and no this isn't a paid ad.)

Last year's chocolate milk frenzy caused fresh deliveries of the chocolate milk from the Lewis Road Creamery to sell out within hours, Auckland's New World Victoria Park sold out of 500 bottles in 90 minutes. Supermarkets soon had to get security guards to monitor the fridges as well as restricting bottle purchase to two per customer. Given the ridiculous demand, a black market for the chocolate milk even sprung up on TradeMe, where punters would fork out $30 for two little 75ml bottles.
