Al's Deli's Second Outpost Has Been Transformed Into a Brew Pub

Having practised the art of brewing since he was 18, it was only a matter of time before Aleks Lazic introduced beer as a main component to his chain of Canadian diners.

The second Al's Deli outpost in the central city on O'Connell Street has been transformed into something of a brew pub with the launch of six house made beers on tap and one cider. Together with personal brewing outfit Williams Warn and their small scale brewing prototype that produces commercial quality beer, Lazic has created his own interpretations of pale ale, lager, stout, pilsner, ale and Canadian pale ale.

As well as functioning as a brewery, Al's Deli Brewhouse will continue to offer the full Al's menu; from the infamous poutine and hand-rolled bagels to loaded moose ear donuts, home made pastrami and hot wings.

In the coming weeks, the establishment will offer traditional soft drinks on tap including old fashioned brewed ginger beer and root beer. And in the not too distant future, Lazic will even be trying his hand at house made distilled spirits.
