Buy-one, give-one initiative Eat My Lunch is a cause worth supporting. In just one year of operation the start-up has donated upwards of 180,000 lunches to children who can't afford their own. As well as being in the thick of an expansion south and a crowdfunding campaign to double their output, EML have teamed up with Newmarket's L'affare Melrose.

For the month of July, the newly minted cafe will offer a dish jointly created by Eat My Lunch co-founder/celebrated restauranteur Michael Meredith and L'affare head chef Luke Adams. Composed of grilled chicken with broccoli, edamame and wasabi, the dish was inspired by Meredith's recent trip to Japan and the discovery of "some pretty incredible yakitori".

For every dish purchased L'affare will pay it forward by donating one meal to Eat My Lunch and a child in need. It will be available at L'affare Melrose from Monday 4 July for the entire month.
