Mexico Unveil Their New Summer Menu + Win a $100 Voucher

Always looking for new ways to reinvent themselves and to steer away from westernised infringements like corn chips and mince, restaurant brand Mexico has unveiled a lively new menu for the summer months, including an all new taco selection, three new quesdillas, two new salads, two new desserts, and four variations of sangria.

Executive Chef Javier Carmona also managed to listen to the people, keeping hold of crowd pleasers like the fried chicken, churros and guac - which has been slightly tweaked for the better. New highlights include the Torta Ahogada, a generously sized Mexican street sandwich filled with pork, cured red onions, slaw and pickles; crispy Gorditas that come filled with slow-cooked lamb and salsa, and Mushroom Chimichangas (a deep-fried burrito) with green olive, leek, queso, cactus and salsa.

New taco flavours span: pork carnitas, blackened zucchini, grilled chicken, smoked beef skirt and market fish.

Mexico’s new sangria combinations will be an ideal accompaniment for the sweltering afternoons ahead. New refreshing blends include: Sauvignon Blanc with lychee, passionfruit, apple, pineapple, ginger and lime; Pinot Noir with blackberry, coconut, cinnamon, apple and orange, and Sparkling Dibon Cava with melon, mint, rose, apple, lime and raspberry. There is also a virgin option.

The new offerings will be available across all seven Mexico locations.
