Overview

The country's largest culinary festival returns to Western Springs Park this November (5 – 8). The three-day event boasts a programme of intriguing food workshops, live entertainment, and a lineup of local food professionals showing off their finesse in the kitchen.

Joining the restaurant lineup is Vietnam's KOTO, who employ food to empower homeless and disadvantaged youth; Ponsonby favourites Farina will be back to defend their Best Dish title; Federal Street institution Depot will come armed with thousands of oysters for their Virgin Oyster Shooters; travelling slow cookers Miss Moonshine will make their festival debut; fine dining experience Bracu will have dessert on lock with a roasted white chocolate ice cream sandwich, and Parnell's NSP will select signature dishes from their lengthy menu dubbed "the bible of Italian cooking."

For the first time at Taste of Auckland, each restaurant will attempt to pull off their interpretation of a hangi.

Johnny Di Francesco, the man who currently holds the prestigious title of World Pizza Champion will also be on hand to show off his dough-flipping skills, there will be workshops on food photography, live music curated by Peter Urlich, and demonstrations with renowned food writer, stylist and photographer, Kelly Gibney.

We have a general admission double pass to A Taste of Auckland to give away.
