The flagship Nitro Cow store can be found at 1/56 - 60 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna. Like the wheel-bound version, the store uses chemistry to produce one of Auckland's creamiest ice cream experiences. How it works: by using liquid nitrogen Nitro Cow can speed up the freezing process and avoid ice crystals forming in the batch.

Current flavours available as gelato, sorbet and ice cream include: s'mores, peanut butter and mango. All come freshly whipped to order before your very eyes. Pair your scoop with puffy Hong Kong-style egg waffles and a variety of toppings, or go for the ultimate wow factor with the smoke oozing Dragon's Breath — liquid nitrogen-dipped corn puffs.
