Wellington peanut butter empire Fix & Fogg was born from Roman and Andrea Jewell's desire to learn new skills. When the pair first started making batches, each jar was hand-wrapped and delivered to doorsteps around Wellington. Fast forward to 2019 and Fix & Fogg has become one of the most sought after products in the capital city, if not New Zealand, scooping awards from Australia to Singapore for its unique nut butters.

While Roman and Andrea no longer hand deliver jars — Hannahs Laneway is home to the brand's shop window which offers peanut butter tastings and gourmet toast — Fix & Fogg wanted to throwback to the good old days when you could rely on a jar or two arriving right on your doorstep.

The Monthly Fix is a peanut butter subscription which sees the goods delivered straight to your door every month. Hardcore peanut butter lovers have the choice of either two, three or four jars of Fix & Fogg to spoon onto porridge, spread onto toast or to eat straight from the jar each month. From there, the only decision you'll face will be whether to order coffee and maple, super crunchy, dark chocolate, fruit toast or smooth.

As well as the generous peanut butter supply, subscribers around the country will receive a gift from another New Zealand business. In September's box, you'll receive some chocolatey goodness from House of Chocolates in Takapuna, because what goes better together than peanut butter and chocolate?

And if four jars simply won't cut it, then head straight for the brand's four-kilogram pail of nut butter — which holds a whopping 11 jars.

Fix & Fogg's monthly subscriptions start at $17. Head to the Fix & Fogg website for more information.
