Four New Retail Brands Have Been Announced for Auckland's Commercial Bay
The new lifestyle development will open its doors with just over 100 retailers.
For those who love fashion, you're in for a treat. By 2019, Auckland's latest lifestyle precinct Commercial Bay will be opening its doors with just over 100 new retailers. There will be a range of major brands, specialty retail stores and a decent selection of modern dining venues. You can expect to find some of the world's favourite international brands, including Canadian accessory brand Hershel Supply Co., luxury Italian handbag company Furla and many more.
The new fashion establishment will also feature New Zealand's own iconic menswear company Rodd & Gunn who opened their first Queen Street store back in 1987. Designer boutique Superette is also expected to be opening a brand new store in the precinct, as well as a collection of Auckland's top local boutiques, which are yet to be announced. In addition to the extensive list of retail brands, there will also be new public spaces and offices built, as well as a 39-storey PwC building. Just over half the partnered brands have been signed off ahead of the 2019 grand opening.
The impressive new development is in prime position along Auckland's waterfront, encompassing the block between Queen and Albert Streets. There are also plans to open some stores early from mid 2018, so keep an eye out.
Also announced for the new hub is the addition of an 800-seat food hall and New York-born Saxon + Parole — an equestrian-themed restaurant with a core focus of meat-centric eats and housemade whiskey.
