Blossoms is the perfect destination when you're looking for a real escape from the city.
Overview
Blossoms is definitely one of the more 'out of the way' spots in Auckland, with some city-centric people arguing that it in fact almost isn't even part of the 09. However, despite the 25 minute trek up the North Western motorway, we can't help but give a CP nod to this great country cafe in Kumeu.
Blossoms is bursting with freshly baked goods, with a mention to their extensive muffin collection. Their breakfast and lunch menus also hone in on that hearty, country goodness you'd expect from a place surrounded by farms.
This spot is the perfect destination when you're looking to do something different. And with a view out of over the orchard that is filled with hens and roosters running around, you won't be in any rush to get back to the city.
