A clean-cut and unpretentious new establishment, Chuffed Café seems to have appeared from nowhere on High Street to remind us of the simple things in life – that great coffee, simple yet divine eats and a warm and welcoming attitude are all you need to make a second home away from home.
While nestled amongst a hub of accounting firms, banks and other pillars of the establishment, Chuffed Café is anything but – celebrating simplicity and the uncomplicated things in life – providing a haven in a suburb awash with the complex and demanding. You’ve had a tough week, so why not drop by and unwind?
The simple interior is understated but cozy, with a courtyard complete with retractable roof, creating an oasis to relax across breakfast, lunch or some kind of brunch or coffee snack in between.
Combining a mixture of cabinet eats, including plenty of sweet-tooth tweaking dessert eats, and a superb menu, you’re sure to find satisfaction. The food has a great lean towards organic products and free range, so you can dine guilt free all day long.
From house-made crumpets with lashings of various good things (we suggest beetroot and honey-cured salmon) to Dr Seuss’s green eggs and ham – or something more substantial like a classic pulled pork sandwich or handmade pasta ribbons – the quality and great flavours are consistently excellent.
Oh and the best bit? Finish off a meal with some fresh figs, escape the office madness and recharge without leaving the CBD.
