Overview

Upon entering Curio Noir's store you are catapulted into another world. The dark and mysterious store, located on Ponsonby Road, encapsulates all that the brand entails. Which was of course, owner of Curio Noir, Tiffany Jeans' plan.

Curio Noir's flagship store located at 76A Ponsonby Road is the first store of its kind, it somewhat tells a story. The interior, which was designed by Rufus Knight, has evidently been very carefully thought out. The walls are made up of layers of custom coloured plaster, applied by hand to achieve a unique texture. Covering the front window and part of the store is luxurious red velvet curtains, which were dyed in Italy. Grant Bailey handcrafted the walnut-made cabinetries where the perfumes and candles sit. Whilst perhaps the most significant piece is the countertop table in the middle of the store, carved by Tiffany's cousin. You can tell that a lot of thought and craftsmanship has gone into creating the space the team behind Curio Noir envisioned.

Given the heritage behind the brand, it's no surprise everything is delicately handcrafted. Curio Noir, which originally started as a candle range in hand-blown glass, has now extended to a handmade perfume range.

CN Absolute Parfum is made up of four unisex fragrances, made from the finest notes including rhubarb, cedar wood, sandalwood, jasmine, sage and plenty more. French perfumers in Grasse, France mix the perfumes. They are available in a travel size 5ml bottle, or for quantities of 30ml or larger the customer can choose a bespoke, hand-blown glass bottle made in collaboration with Monmouth Glass Studio.
