The well-loved Australian women and childrenswear brand, Seed, has hit Ponsonby Road. If you've shopped there before then you won't be disappointed. They've brought the whole range over the ditch, so there is none of that downsizing business that sometimes happens when New Zealand finally snags an international fashion house. The flagship is right on the corner of Williamson Ave and Ponsonby Road, so it's extremely handy for foot traffic but extremely unhandy for parking.
The shop floor is spacious, so you won't be battling for browsing space amongst fellow shoppers, and the racks are spaced logically around the shop so you can do a loop around the perimeter without missing anything or having to double back. In the centre of the store is a cage holding the handbags, shoes, jewellers and accessories, and around the outside of the store the clothing is separated into colour and style for easy shopping.
Behind the womenswear lives the infant and childrenswear. It's very aww-worthy and you probably can't venture into that section of the store without purchasing a pair of tiny golden cowboy boots, regardless of whether you have a small person in your life or not. It's largely girls' fashion, ranging from ages 0-16 ish, but there is a small section dedication to boys clothing too, and it is full of dinosaurs and monster themed threads.
