If you’re into all things vintage then you’ll love Yellow Brick Road. What you’ve got to understand before you enter its Ponsonby Road store however, is that this stuff is real vintage. It isn’t an opshop circa Savemart or any of the K Road second hand stores. So whilst the product on offer at YBR has in fact been worn before, it also is super rad and comes with a fitting price tag.
Retro cardigans, 70’s dresses and quirky slogan tees are all aplenty instore, and it is a challenge to go in without finding something that brings back memories of the 90’s and nostalgia for your younger years.
Alongside the clothing, they sell accessories, stationery and cute but relatively useless knick knacks like slinky toys and magic kits. Head in if you’re up for a trip down memory lane. It’s all fun.
