Is there any better way to spend the weekend than with food, fashion and luxury accommodation?

It's all happening at Auckland CBD luxury hotel SO/ — and with a month of special dining experiences and a one-off designer suite in the mix, there's no better time to treat yourself to staycation.

First, the suite.

To create a bespoke ultra-luxurious space SO/ has partnered with Superette, a New Zealand staple for high-end fashion, home to some of the best Australian and Kiwi brands — as well as their own lines of basics.

The Superette suite has been created for those who are seeking a more curated hotel experience. The suite is decked out in touches of the Superette brand everywhere you look, from the designer glassware by Fazeek and Ferm Living, skincare from Salt by Hendrix and supplements from The Beauty Chef.

Sit back and relax while enjoying all that SO/ already builds into every room: funky decor, a fluffy robe, and a view of Tāmaki Makaurau. You might even find a little Superette voucher tucked away in your room as well, in case the suite has inspired you to do some shopping. This suite has everything you need to feel and look your best, without even leaving the room.

But if you do feel the need to leave, may we suggest heading to SO/ fine dining restaurant, Harbour Society. On October 19, 20 and 21, chef Grant King will be in the Harbour Society kitchen, returning to his homeland of Aotearoa to present Homecoming Flavours: A Culinary Journey with Chef Grant King.

This five-course dining experience draws from elements of King's life, from when he was growing up in the South Island of New Zealand, to the United Kingdom, and the last ten years in Sydney where he transformed the restaurant Pier and was awarded Australian Chef of the Year. He now provides private, bespoke dining experiences to foodies all over the world.

Tickets to Homecoming Flavours: A Culinary Journey on October 19, 20 and 21 can be purchased from Harbour Society. Bookings for the Superette suite are accepted through enquiries only, and will be available throughout October.
