This Overnight Experience Includes a Scenic Helicopter Flight and Wine Tasting

Got an extra-special occasion to celebrate or just an extra wad of cash to splash? Until the end of November, Heletranz is offering a luxury experience combining a scenic chopper flight, wine tasting and an overnight stay in a fairytale-style cottage.

The Mudbrick Bud Burst Cottage Escape includes a flight above the Hauraki Gulf with a whistle-stop around the crater of Rangitoto Island and past the 178 million-year-old and totally pest-free Motutapu. Upon landing at Waiheke's Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant, you'll be treated to a bottle of bubbles and wine tasting at the Cellar Door. Later, there's the choice of a three‐course dinner at either The Archive or Mudbrick Dining Room.

There's no need to plan your journey back just yet; an overnight stay in one of Mudbrick's cottages awaits. Set in the property's olive grove, the Olive and Merlot cottages allow guests to wander down a winding pathway, hop into a private spa pool, and cop views back across the Gulf.

Following a hot breakfast on departure day, a vehicle transfer will drop guests from Mudbrick to the ferry terminal. Alternatively, there's return by helicopter for an additional cost.
