Q: What's better than watching a movie while snuggled up inside with your cat?

A: Watching a movie while sitting in an outdoor hot tub surrounded by Queenstown's snowy-covered Remarkable.

It may sound like a pipe dream, but Queenstown's Winter Festival is making that dream come true. Yes folks, you heard right. For the first time ever, the hot tub cinema experience is coming to New Zealand, and will be screening in Earnslaw Park on Saturday June 21 at 2pm and 6pm. Places in the hot tub cinema are R18 and free, the only catch being that you can only win a spot in a tub. So check out DB's Facebook for details on how to enter.

Meanwhile, the rest of Queenstown will be going off from June 20 until June 29, the American Express Queenstown Winterfestival boasting night-time skiing sessions, silent discos, an ice rink, an in-house comedy fest and the latest Rekorderlig pop-up installation: The Winter Forest Bar, and more.
