No assembly required; guests simply arrive at the designated glamping spot near Waipu to 'check in' to their canvas bell tent, which comes equipped with a comfortable bed and high-thread-count bedlinen.

All you need to bring is food, drinks and yourself. LandRoamer says the experience strikes the balance between a traditional Kiwi beach holiday and all the comforts of being at home.

The destination itself is a 90-minute drive from Auckland and serves up fine white sand and unspoiled coastline ideal for swimming, surfing and fishing. The Uretiti Beach Campsite is positioned directly behind the rolling sand dunes of the beach.
