Overview
In recent years, Darwin's bar scene has stepped up its game. One of the (relatively) new kids on the block that has really made a splash is The Trader Bar. Serving up espressos by day and cocktails by night, it's your one-stop-shop for a tipple. During the week, it's just coffees, but come Friday the party kicks in. Known for its extensive selection of Australian gins, fun cocktails and stellar wine list, The Trader Bar has a leafy outdoor area, with a 140 person capacity, which is perfect for kicking back on a balmy night. The interior can seat up to 75 and has and industrial-meets-the-tropics feel to it. You'll often find a DJ playing , too, to add to the good times. You can just walk up to the bar and nab a spot, otherwise it takes limited reservations before 7pm.
