Lorde: Solar Power World Tour 2023
Get ready to belt out all the words to 'Ribs' and 'Green Light'.
Overview
Lorde is back. After five years away from music, the New Zealand pop sensation returned in 2021 with third studio album Solar Power. And, if you've been hanging out to hear it live, her delayed tour is finally heading our way in March.
The Solar Power World Tour was meant to hit in 2022, but was postponed due to New Zealand's COVID-19 situation and border rules at the time. When it makes its way to Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Friday, March 10–Saturday, March 11, fans will still be in for a treat, of course — and three albums worth of Lorde tunes.
On the Solar Power tour, expect to have plenty of company belting out all the words to 'Ribs' and 'Green Light'.
The last time that Australia was treated to Lorde's live set was her headline set at Splendour in the Grass 2018, a full-circle moment for the singer as she returned to the stage of one of her first ever performances as a last-minute replacement for Frank Ocean back in 2013. A year prior, in 2017, Lorde also toured some of Australia's largest and most iconic outdoor venues including the Sydney Opera House Forecourt.
