Overview

It's hard to believe it's been a whole year since Melbourne got its first dedicated plant-based pizzeria. Though time sure does fly when you're not having to dig through menus to find delicious, vegan-friendly options.

So, from noon on Saturday, February 10, join Collingwood cult favourite Red Sparrow Pizza as it rings in its first birthday with some animal product-free fun for all.

There'll be $5 Sample tinnies flying throughout the day and, of course, a big ol' birthday cake, all ready for everyone to enjoy alongside the kitchen's regular menu of wood fired vegan pizzas. Favourites like the patatas bravas pizza, the spicy volcano number and the buffalo tofu creation will all be in attendance. You'll also catch appearances from some local music legends — from 3 - 5pm, the space next door at 404 Smith Street will be heating up with live tunes from Camp Cope's Georgia Maq, plus Ben David of The Hard Aches.
