Overview

Auckland based singer-songwriter Ciaran Mckeekan releases his self-titled debut album on August 4. To celebrate the anticipated release the acoustic singer will be travelling the country to celebrate. First stop: his hometown of Dunedin, then onward to Queenstown, Wellington before ending in Auckland at the Tuning Fork.

Reflecting on his time so far as an artist, Mckeekan finds inspiration in everyday life, from falling in and out of love, the search for one's self-purpose and the freedom of being young. He deviates from his classic acoustic sound and instead combines rock, blues, swing, soul, and jazz all fused together by his captivating vocals.

The tour will not only showcase tracks from his new album but also fan favourites from previous EPs. McKeekan is set to deliver a thrilling experience for his first headlining tour; the Kiwi heartthrob will share the stage with a live band, featuring horns, strings, and a baby grand piano. You're in for a real treat.

Featuring both old and new songs, make sure to warm up your vocals as it's going to be pretty difficult to not sing-along to his catchy foot-tapping tracks.
