Overview

88mph is Canberra's devoted eighties bar featuring a retro fit-out with plenty of neon, black tiles, a mural full of cassette tapes, arcade games, a light-up floor and non-stop tunes from the decade.

Out the back, you'll find three dedicated karaoke rooms where you can sing your heart out to 'Livin' On A Prayer' and 'Sweet Child O' Mine'.

The bar, lit up by neon strip lighting, serves ice-cold beer on tap along with a range of colourful, fruity cocktails crafted in-house. And if you get hungry while you're boogying, there are also classic pizzas on offer, cooked in ovens down the end of the bar, such as the Malibu Ken hawaiian and May The Sauce Be With You margherita.

Best of all are the parties and events the venue puts on, including dance nights with uninterrupted bangers, plenty of happy hours and DJ sets that call for you to dig out your best bling and 80s sportswear.
