Located inside Hotel Realm on Canberra's National Circuit, Buvette is a Parisian-inspired bistro and wine bar. You can expect a little bit of everything from this sleek space. Breakfast is approachable, featuring the likes of shakshuka, eggs benedict and syrup-drizzled pancakes, while the express lunch will see you get a main meal and drink for $30.

Dinner services turns things up a notch where French-accented dishes like chicken ballotine and champagne sabayon oysters are served alongside burrata with smoked heirloom beetroot, a seafood brodetto, and grilled king prawns finished with kombu and chilli butter.

The venue also offers a high tea on weekends starting at $50 per person. It includes sandwiches, pretty French cakes and tarts, and scones served with jam and cream. Tea is, of course, free-flowing but you have the option to upgrade to free-flowing champagne for an additional $55.

The venue also doubles as a cake shop and let us tell you that every single dessert is divine. If you're looking for something special for a birthday or event, the high tea box and gin and tonic cheesecake are worth a look.
