Overview
Sideway is a cosy and stylish bar and live music venue in the city centre's Sydney Building. Open Wednesday to late Saturday night (right through till 4am), the venue puts on experimental performances and club-style electronic nights. It also hosts free live music evenings every Thursday where local bands and acts take the stage.
Drinkswise, expect experimental cocktails like a yuzu and white chocolate negroni, a lemon myrtle pisco sour and the Salt n Pepper martini (with olive oil gin). There are also craft beers on tap, including the beloved Canberra Bitter, and wines from across the country. You'll also be able to snack on slices from Solita Pizzeria.
