Overview

Sitting on Bougainville Street in Manuka Shopping Precinct, Cafe Patissez Bakehaus is a haven of baked goods, brunch dishes and specialty coffee. The all-day menu features the likes of pulled pork benedict (made with 12-hour braised pork shoulder), sweet ricotta hotcakes with whipped honeycomb butter, a hearty mi goreng fried chicken burger and a loaded turkey BLT.

Saying the menu is stacked is an understatement. In addition to everything we listed above, there's an entire section of the menu dedicated to huge, crispy tacos filled with everything from jalapeño scrambled eggs to mini corn and zucchini fritters. There's also a plethora of sweeter treats, too, including six types of french toast and 12 next-level Freak Shakes.

The cafe's a busy one, so although you can just walk in during the week, you'll need a booking for a weekend sit down. Thankfully, the menu is curated for taking away, with a text and collect option that allows you to simply text your order to the venue's number to receive a confirmation and collection time.
