In the lead up to this year's New Zealand Fashion Week, restaurants along Wynyard Quarter's North Wharf will offer loan umbrellas to fend off the unpredictable Auckland weather. The initiative is part of a collaboration between Blunt Umbrellas and leading local designers Huffer and Harman Grubiša.
With their robust canopy the New Zealand made umbrellas have been labelled a design breakthrough, somewhere between a suspension bridge and NASA space probe.
