Situated at the top of Victoria Street West is Auckland's newest top-end hair design studio, doubling as a creative space celebrating art, music, photography and fashion.

Launched by renowned New Zealand stylist Brad Lepper, the studio (which is constantly changing) allows artists from any medium to be inspired. “Hairstyling is a form of living art," says Lepper. “I want French Revolver Studio to offer guests an opportunity to explore creative alternatives in personal imagery in an effort to make every day a good hair day.”

With 13 years’ experience in hairdressing and numerous awards under his belt, Brad Lepper is recognised as one of the top hair stylists in the country. Previously a nationwide educator with Sebastian, Brad has been involved in multiple New Zealand Fashion Weeks and has collaborated with NZ On Air to help musicians update their look and advance their careers.

Taking creativity to the next level, French Revolver Studio is more than just your typical hair salon, doubling as an art gallery, showcasing notable, unique and inspired works by both renowned and local artists on rotation across the salon.

Early in 2012 Brad plans to open a full art gallery space upstairs for a revolving exhibition of pieces by photographers, painters, sculptors and the like.  Art pieces are generally available for purchase.

“I hope that French Revolver Studio will enrich the neighbourhood and city at large with inspiring art and a vibrant collective of creative talent,” says Brad.
